Body DesignA "V-shaped" back with the peak of buoyancy positioned directly above the center of gravity. Flat sides enhance the fluttering effect. A thin lip that achieves a balance of swimming agility, water grip, and strength.

Swim Action The swim actionfeatures a large wave with a 50/50 wobble and roll. This gives it strong appeal even with a simple retrieve. The short-pitch, fluttering, inertial slide with a short range of movement induces bites even in small action zones. The sharp darting action from a hard twitch avoids fish seeing through the lure. The reeling depth (in still water) is 100cm for the D-Compact 45, which is deeper than the D-Contact and D-Insight. The D-Compact 38 is 60cm.

The D-Compact offers "ease of use" and "fish-attracting power" that won't jump outof the water in any situation. In situations where a lure would normally jump out of the water, such as when twitching upstream in shallow or fast currents, or when retrieving a U-shaped retrieve in a strong current from the side, or when tackling a complex and strong current around boulders with a downstream retrieve, the D-Compact is easy to control thanks to its lip and body balance that grips the water well, allowing it to appeal effectively without jumping out of the water.

The D-Compact offers both ease of use and effective hook-setting, making range control crucial regardless of depth. It directly impacts results when combined with the fish's feeding depth.
